Business Integration Manager - Netherlands
The active acquisition strategy in and outside the Netherlands has created an interesting new position: Business Integration Manager (with a strong focus on finance). We are looking for a dedicated, entrepreneurial financial who will be primarily responsible for the integration process subsequent to an acquisition in the Netherlands.

The position
This is a highly project-based position where you are responsible for the first 100 days after an organization has been acquired. After those 100 days, tasks and responsibilities will be transferred to a colleague (FD). Given the acquisition strategy, this is a continuous process where they will also enter new countries. In order to build a strong relationship (on behalf of Your.Cloud) with companies located in the Netherlands, it is important that the integration manager is able and willing to work on location during this phase.
The projects during these 100 days have a heavy financial control (accounting), business finance (business control), and business development component (e.g. support for HR integration and commercial initiatives).
As a project manager, the integration manager plays a key external role, proactively overseeing the process with a focus on financially related matters concerning newly acquired organizations. This involves both content and management aspects, with the goal of ensuring a smooth and efficient integration. Typically, the manager is expected to spend around 3 to 4 days per week on-site at one of the newly acquired companies. The manager maintains ongoing communication with various departments, primarily based in Amsterdam, as well as with the management teams and local finance departments of the newly acquired companies in The Netherlands.
Tasks and responsibilities
- First point-of contact for local board of directors/ management and the leadership team of Your.Cloud with regard to integration matters;
- Define and implement/ lead the 100-day plan after acquisitions (post-merger integration plan)
- Travel to the location of the newly acquired acquisitions;
- Integration of the financial processes with those of Your.Cloud;
- Coordinate involvement of so-called Communities (Your.Cloud support teams);
- Ensure that newly acquired organizations are smoothly included in the reporting and consolidation process of the group (by use of LucaNet software);
- Ensure that the newly acquired organizations are prepared for an external financial audit;
- Professionalize both financial control and business control (forecasting, data driven analyses, actionable insights, etc.) at a decentralized level for newly acquired organizations;
- Transfer the strategy and philosophy of the group and translate strategy into measurable goals and (financial and non-financial) KPIs and actions to be taken to improve performance;
- Set-up, implement and further develop consistent and high-quality reporting;
- Proactively ensure overall coordination with external and internal stakeholders with regard to integration matters;
- Maintain contact with stakeholders and create broad support throughout the newly acquired organization(s);
- Have an external focus and proactively guide the management of recently acquired organizations at strategic, tactical and operation level, solicited and unsolicited, with regard to financial/ business-oriented issues;
- Unlock data and translate it into adequate information for business operations;
- Provide more insights into performance per customers, per product/service/ etc. based on self-developed models;
- Provide management and employees with solicited and unsolicited advice based on trends and results that are visible in the data;

About you
- Master degree in Finance, supplemented with a RA/CPA title;
- Approximately 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience, of which for example:
- From approximately 5 years of experience in Accountancy/ Audit/ Transaction Services/ M&A
- Preferably supplemented with experience as a controller in an international mid-market organization;
- Strong project management skills;
- Good financial control & business control knowledge (setting up and further developing);
- You have excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills;
- Experience with LucaNet (their reporting and consolidation software) is a plus;
- Knowledge of reporting rules (Dutch GAAP/ IFRS);
- Great business sense and acting as a business sparring partner;
- Experience as a financial in the IT sector (preferably managed hosting) is a plus;
- Experience or affinity with operating in a buy&build context (post-merger processes);
- You have the ambition to continuously improve yourself;
- You are hands-on, socially skilled and able to bind and convince people;
- You are proactive, curious and result-driven;
- You are a structured individual with a “get things done” mindset, who enjoys diverse tasks but remains committed even when faced with repetitive duties. In short, a proactive go-getter;
- You work independently and have a strong sense of responsibility;
- You are comfortable working with strict deadlines;
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Willing to travel (in NL).
