The future of Microsoft 365 unveiled at Your.Cloud Tech Tracks

On February 13, at an exciting new edition of the tech event Your.Cloud Tech Tracks, the future and possibilities of the Microsoft 365 platform were unveiled.

With the theme “Microsoft 365: Foundations for the Future,” inspiring speakers covered a range of topics for an audience of 150 IT experts from Your.Cloud companies, including security, adoption, automation, and compliance. Attendees gained valuable insights into how the Microsoft 365 suite can enhance customer experiences and improve IT management. After an inspiring opening by Your.Cloud CEO Jonh Reynders, the attendees took off on their journey through the Microsoft 365 universe.

Enhancing Security with App Registrations

Speakers Léon Housheer and Herman Ronk from NEH shared their experiences and best practices for app registrations in Entra ID. By implementing app registrations effectively, users can place greater trust in the security of their applications, while administrators gain confidence that unauthorized or potentially harmful apps are not being used.

Although app registrations may not have been a new concept for most attendees, the speakers’ expertise and best practices provided fresh perspectives on strengthening IT security.

Automation for MSPs

For Managed Service Providers (MSPs), efficient, consistent, and secure management of customer tenants is essential. In breakout sessions, speakers shared insights from pilot projects using third-party tenant and user management tools for Microsoft 365. Experts from multiple Your.Cloud companies discussed their experiences with different tools, equipping attendees with the knowledge needed to optimize their services.

NIS2 / CBW Compliance for MSPs

Compliance with new regulations is an increasing challenge for MSPs. Staying informed about recent legislative changes is crucial to maintaining high-quality yet compliant services.

Jolanda van Drunen from AuditConnect provided essential insights on NIS2 and the Dutch CBW regulations for MSPs. She guided the audience on how to prepare their organizations and support customers with questions regarding these new cybersecurity laws.

In an engaging and thought-provoking session, Karen Bevers and Sophie Sitters, adoption consultants from NEH, shared strategies to help IT professionals encourage user adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions. They explored key questions such as: Why do users request certain tools? How can IT professionals communicate without creating unintended confusion?

Their session offered practical tips to help IT experts better understand customer needs and improve user engagement with Microsoft 365.

Automate to Innovate with Microsoft

The event concluded with an inspiring keynote by Harald Wentein, Low Code, Automation, and Agents Lead at Microsoft Western Europe. He guided the audience through the latest advancements in Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, CoPilot, and the growing role of Agentic AI.

Attendees discovered new ways to automate workflows, leverage the Microsoft ecosystem to solve complex business challenges, and streamline traditionally cumbersome applications. The session left participants feeling inspired, informed, and motivated to enhance their customers’ experiences—one step at a time.
