TICTS continues to grow in ICT and telecom for healthcare with FuTec acquisition

FuTec, ICT specialist in workstations and telecom solutions for the healthcare sector, joins Total ICT Solutions (TICTS). This acquisition allows FuTec to accelerate its growth and further strengthen its position as a full service provider in the field of "healthy ICT". TICTS is the distinctive one-stop-shop platform in the field of IT and telecommunications, and part of the fast-growing MSP family TSH.

"I am immensely proud that FuTec is becoming part of the TICTS / TSH family with which the future is guaranteed for both our customers and staff. That we can work together with Westers within the group gives me renewed energy to continue my efforts to achieve further growth in my new role." - Leo van der Slot - FuTec

Focus on reliability with healthcare industry knowledge

FuTec was founded in 1994 and, with DGA Leo van der Slot, has grown into a leading name in the field of ICT and telecommunication solutions for healthcare. For example, the Barendrecht-based IT partner offers online workstations developed specifically for primary care, supplemented and supported by sector-specific solutions and services.

The acquisition by TICTS changes Leo van der Slot’s role from DGA to an active and involved Strategic Advisor. “The sale of FuTec is a big step for me” said Leo. “I am extremely proud that FuTec becomes part of the TICTS / TSH family with which the future for both our customers and staff is guaranteed. The fact that we can work with Westers within the group gives me renewed energy to continue my efforts to achieve further growth in my new role.”

FuTec will continue to operate under the familiar and established name from its office in Barendrecht.

An important aspect of TICTS’ growth strategy is the mutual cooperation and knowledge exchange between the organization’s various business units. Nils Vermeulen, General Manager of TICTS, is therefore very pleased with the addition of FuTec to the TICTS family: “Leo and his team have created a wonderful organization of which they can be extremely proud, and which fits very well with how we as TICTS look to the future. We are additionally very pleased that Leo will remain with FuTec as a Strategic Advisor to continue to leverage his network and experience for the future and growth of the company. To further accelerate the cooperation between the TICTS companies, Leo’s role as DGA will be taken over by Robin Nijhof. Robin will combine the final responsibility for FuTec with his current role as Managing Director of Westers (part of TICTS). We look forward to continuing to grow together in this new composition.”

Robin Nijhof is looking forward to working with FuTec: “FuTec is a wonderful established name in ICT and telecommunications for primary care. We at Westers share that focus with FuTec, and by now being able to act together under the TICTS banner, we can both benefit from mutual synergies, share knowledge and experience and together create a unique starting position for further growth in this market for both companies. I am enormously looking forward to the steps we will take together and to getting the most out of our collaboration.”
