Why founder Mitch Dubbeling saw Your.Cloud as a next step—for his team and himself
OfficeGrip joined Your.Cloud in 2021. Since then, founder Mitch Dubbeling grew on to be Portfolio Director at Your.Cloud. This gave Kenny Schoute the room and opportunity to grow in to the role of Managing Director.
When Mitch Dubbeling, founder of OfficeGrip, began considering the next chapter for his company, he wasn’t looking to leave the business behind. He was looking to evolve it—and to evolve his role with it.
Now General Manager at Your.Cloud for the horizontal companies, Mitch is helping other MSPs navigate the same journey he took himself.
“In my entrepreneurial journey, the step to Your.Cloud was the next phase for me—both for my personal development and for the growth of the people I have always worked with.”
Mitch built OfficeGrip into a thriving business. But as it grew, so did the ambitions of the team around him.
“What I noticed was that in my former organisation, we reached a point where many people within my company wanted to take the next step,” Mitch explains. “The only problem was that the next step was my position. So that didn’t work.”
It’s a familiar situation for many founders: the company is growing, but the structure can’t support new leadership. And that’s when Your.Cloud came into view.

Today, Mitch supports the MSPs that join Your.Cloud, helping them implement the best ideas and structures from across the group. But it’s far from a top-down exercise.
“As General Manager, my role is to support the companies we acquire in implementing all the smart things we do at Your.Cloud,” he says. “But I also try to bring in as much knowledge and information from the companies we acquire. It’s always a two-way exchange.”
“We acquire great companies that we aim to improve. And the best things we find within those companies, we strive to implement across all our other companies.”
One of the cultural hallmarks of Your.Cloud is openness. Rather than create competition or internal silos, the group encourages collaboration and meaningful dialogue.
“In the industry we operate in, it is important to share knowledge in an open and fair way,” Mitch says. “Within the group of companies we now have, you can have real, meaningful conversations with every entrepreneur.”
Q: Will I lose control or get phased out as a founder?
